Annual Student Art Show

Tonight was the opening reception of the Annual Student Art Show and lecture by guest speaker William Dunlap. Information on the artist William Dunlap and examples of his work can be found on the website: http://www.williamdunlap.com/. I had two pieced accepted into the show, "The Green Machine" and "Evolution of Bones."

Second Sculpture Critique

Today was the second sculpture critique for the Spring 2011 semester. My metal and wood sculpture was based on concept "Green Machine." My interpretation of this topic included rusty "green with envy" machinery parts reaching toward two shining pieces hanging from above. The base of my sculpture, a natural log, also echoed the "green" theme.
